The Smoky Mountain Symposium on Relational Trauma brings together clinicians for three days of practical, clinically grounded continuing education focused on CPTSD, betrayal trauma, sexual trauma, intimate partner violence, and client’s difficult relationships -with Self or others.
Designed for both early-career and seasoned therapists, the conference strengthens assessment, ethical decision-making, and intervention strategies for complex relational cases.
Participants will learn the FLASH trauma treatment protocol, examine disgust as a trauma response, explore the clinical use of the Enneagram, and deepen their understanding of treatment approaches for IPV and sexual trauma, including forgiveness in recovery. Attention is also given to vicarious resilience and sustaining clinicians who regularly hold trauma in their work.
The goal is for therapists to leave feeling connected to colleagues, supported in their professional growth, and equipped with skills they can immediately apply in practice.
The symposium will be held at Dollywood’s DreamMore Resort in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. A limited block of discounted rooms is available at $269 per night, with options to extend your stay before or after the conference. Attendees will receive booking details and access codes upon registration.
